Pro Worlds Update: Spectator Pass Sales Trending Toward Full Capacity
Ticket demand for the 2026 PDGA Pro World Disc Golf Championships has moved beyond early momentum and into a clear trend: this year’s event will sell out.
Through this stage of the sales cycle, ticket purchases are running 126% ahead of the 2024 Pro Worlds event in Lynchburg—an event that drew roughly 5,000 spectators on-site for its final round. With five months still remaining, 2026 has already separated itself from past benchmarks.
From a revenue standpoint, the event is already the second highest-grossing disc golf event of all time in spectator ticket sales, and it continues to climb.

A Different Scale of Attendance
Projections for Toboggan point to 10,000 spectators per day over the weekend. This isn’t incremental growth: this is Worlds becoming much bigger than it’s ever been, with the expectation of the crowd size being triple the size of anything DGLO has ever seen. Due to the increased spectator attendance projections, the event team has been working closely with staff at Kensington Metropark to open up new spectator viewing lines, particularly at the Toboggan course. The course will provide dramatically different viewing opportunities compared to previous iterations of DGLO. Large sections of invasive autumn olive has been removed from the course this winter and spring.

From the Tournament Director
Nate Heinold summarized it directly:
“The 2026 PDGA Pro World Disc Golf Championships are shaping up to be a landmark disc golf event in the history of our sport. Ticket sales are significantly ahead of our wildest expectations and we plan to continue to invest in this event to showcase everything Southeast Michigan has to offer. This event is going to be the disc golf experience of a lifetime.”
What This Means
This is no longer a situation where tickets might become limited. The pace is established, and inventory is already being reduced in real time.
If you plan to be there, purchase your tickets now. The window to choose how you experience Worlds is already starting to close. This year’s PDGA Pro Worlds event will be presented by 1st Phorm and will take place August 26th through the 30th at Kensington Metropark in Milford, Michigan.
