Where Worlds Comes to Play: Gerrit J. Verburg Family Fun Zone
For thousands of families and first-time spectators attending the 2026 PDGA Pro World Championships, the Gerrit J. Verburg Sweet Spot & Fun Zone will be a key part of their experience—a place where kids, parents, and casual fans can play, explore, and enjoy the festival atmosphere of Worlds.
Attractions & Activities
The Fun Zone features a full lineup of high-energy attractions, including:
- 26-foot rock climbing wall
- 300-foot zip line
- 65-foot Radical Run obstacle course
- Kids slide
- Xtreme Fun Course
- 18-hole Worlds Mini Course with staked OB, obstacles, and full-length mini holes
All attractions will be professionally staffed to ensure safety and smooth operations throughout the event.
When & Where to Experience the Fun Zone
Toboggan
Location: Behind Hole 2’s green and Hole 3’s tee, near Spectator Check-In
Operating Hours:
- Mini Course: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 9 AM – 5 PM
- Fun Zone: Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM – 4 PM
Black Locust
Location: Martindale Parking Lot
Operating Hours:
- Mini Course: Wednesday and Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Access & Eligibility
Fun Zone activities are free for all ticket types except General Admission badges. General Admission spectators may purchase access for $10.
All other ticket holders may enjoy the Fun Zone at no additional cost.
Family-First Focus
The Sweet Spot is designed to offer a break from competition—especially for young fans or families spending full days at the courses. It provides a place to relax, reset, and play between rounds.
